Navigation Icons for Shops, Restaurants

When my Model X map is zoomed in, I get the standard Google icons (pins) for every business and restaurant that has paid their dues to Google. On my Acura, I can tell the nav system to "hide Restaurants" and they all disappear. I've tried everything and my MX seems to just want to display these local businesses. It's not that terrible, but it one of those tiny annoying thing I wish I could turn on or off. Thoughts?

There aren't any filters that I know about.. but if you switch to satellite view I think it shows less clutter
