NC Model 3 deliveries

I was in the Raleigh showroom two weeks ago, and they told me there had been 4 NC deliveries--two in Raleigh and two in Charlotte. At the time, this was the most in the region. They said one may have been non-employee, but that was iffy. I've heard of one sighting on I-40 (not by me). Anybody have any more info?

FWIW, they also reported that production ramp was improving significantly per status update from HQ (conf. call).

Very interesting! Were these people gaming the system to get east coast deliveries? Or is feels really just delivering across the U.S.?

Well, 3 out of 4 (or all 4) were employees, so not sure there was any gaming of the system. Nobody seemed to know exactly how the order of deliveries is decided.

I was at the Raleigh SC today to get my S 100D uncorked, and they actually have a Model 3 outback. I also saw them driving it around in the area.

The guy who handled the sale of my car told me that he is taking delivery of his model 3 tomorrow (the one I saw was not his).

The Model 3 looks like a 3/4 scale Model S with a snubbed nose. Great looking car from the side and back.

Purchase price $52,000 with large battery. I'm not too

sure about the way the dash looks.
