That’d be awesome. Are there more details posted anywhere about the meetups? Is there a way you all communicate that non-owners are able to participate in as well? I just found the Tesla Omaha Facebook group and joined that as well. Hoping to get more involved and soon become an actual owner.

Thanks again.
Unless I have been left out of the loop, I believe we just communicate on here. And I haven't heard any more responses on the meetup today and the weather is going to be kind of cold, so maybe postponing?

How about 1pm? Should we meet at the outlet mall again by the chargers? I’ll post this on the Omaha Tesla Owners Facebook group also so hopefully we can get a few more people.

Saw your post on FB, I'm headed to Nebraska City & Lincoln here in a few but should be back through Gretna just about 1-1:30... Planning to stop at NE Crossing to charge. So I'll be a late, but count me as tentative.

Folks, excited to know that a Tesla Club exists in NE. I just discovered it. I am a new M3 owner and love it. I will surely try to meet everyone next time there is a meetup.
Welcome! We will definitely try to get one more yet this fall. Hopefully there is a Saturday soon where it is a decent temp and sunny. I think an awesome goal would be to have 10 Tesla's at the meetup.

So, what paper work will I need from Tesla to register my car? My delivery specialist in Kansas City said they would mail my paperwork, but I've seen others on the forum say it was in their Tesla account. The only thing in my account is the unsigned MVPA.

In my case it was in the mail. I had home delivery so I got an odometer statement, MVPA, filled in title application, and a certificate of origin. Maybe you already have some of these. The MVPA in the packet only had the production complete date on it but they were able to use the odometer statement as the delivery date. If the delivery date is more than 30 days ago there are penalties and interest on the sales tax so be sure you have that documented somehow. You will also need your proof of insurance for the Tesla and registration for the car you traded in or sold so you get that credited back.

In my case they actually sent it via FedEx probably because it was one thing they could do to make up for all the other troubles I had with delivery. So if anyone is close to 30 days without their forms tell them to FedEx it so you avoid penalties.

Mine was sent via FedEx and I got it 9 days after picking up the car. There was also a trade-in tax form.

I'm registering next week and ready to battle if they are not basing my AWD on a MSRP between $35k and $39k.

If you want to battle that start now. The AWD was definitely based on $53k or so and with an AWD VIN there was no way for them to select anything other than AWD or AWD Performance. I can say the last car I bought similarly had trim levels in the system (base, premium, luxury). Now there is a case here that AWD is an option and not a trim level but I think it will be hard to get that changed.

I received my paperwork via FedEx Overnight a week after delivery, and licensed a few days later. The packet had a stamped paid copy of the MVPA, the Manufacturer's certificate of Origin (Signed by Elon ;) ) and a Nebraska title application. Make sure to also take the loan security agreement (if your car is financed). That's the only thing I didn't have with me when I went to register, luckily I had a digital copy that sufficed for the DMV rep.

@uselesslogin - Which location did you register your car at? (If you don't mind me asking.) I've been trying to fight my registration but have been getting the bureaucratic runaround.

It seems like the more people I talk to they are aware of the situation. They just don't want to do anything since they already have my money. I'm glad you weren't charge the Performance "MSRP" as they see it. But still I'd like to imagine a world where every Model 3's MSRP is $35K. You may say that I'm a dreamer...
