I have a 20 MSLR. It has Goodyear Touring 245/45/19’s with 23k miles. Time to replace, what is everyone’s recomendation? I’m thing of going with Michelins Primacy MXM4’s. What are your thoughts?
You’ll probably get many different suggestions here soon, but I personally will only continue to use the Primacy MXM4s. I just love the quiet smooth ride and the longevity of the tire itself. It’s never let me down for many years and different cars.
I'm going to try the Pirelli P ZERO All Season Plus ELECT. Has noise-canceling foam, 50k treadwear, designed for EVs. Probably similar ride characteristics as the OEM Michelins. A more performance oriented tire: Michelin Pilot Sport All Season.
Went through those tires pretty quick! Did you every do an alignment and how often did you rotate them? I agree with @Pricedm, look for tires with high a treadwear rating.

FYI - Discount Tire is having a sale thru 5/26 on Michelin (frequent $110 off sales occur) as well as Pirelli ($70 off - first time I've seen in at least six months). Other tire brands are on sale as well.
I went with Amazon route and found tires for 1/4 the cost Lionhart LH-five Extra load rated 245/35/R21 for my fronts and used Amazons scheduling with Pep Boys for 2 tires less than the cost of 1 through the tire shops. $1566/ tire and $12.99 to mount and balance.

@Pricedm ,@mswlogo - I wanted to go with Pirelli P ZERO All Season Plus ELECT as well. They offer the model S front size of 255/45 R19 but they do not offer the rear size of 285/40 R19? Are you doing mix match of your front and rears or did you go with a different size for your rear tires for your model S?
The new Model Ys are coming with the Continental ProContacts seems it’s also preferred on the Model S LRs too. I recently swapped from the Pirellis and they are noticeably quieter.
