Last week to choose and we have our car on hold with a deposit and grandfathered in.

    Cars I am considering
13 P85 w/19k miles for 60k (more op) on hold...

15 85D w14k miles for 71k which I can go back to if we choose.

I can change to a 14 P85 w/ 30k miles with more options and pearl white. 70.5k for this one.

I might (big) might go with a 14 P85D but is it really worth 20k more than the 85D

    Please help

I am a driver and like to feel the car. But that 85D offers a lot for the money and it's a 15.

I'd get the 15 with AP.

I would buy the 15 85D with AP over the 2014 P85 without since they are so similar in price. Whether or not the 2015 is worth 11k more than the 2013 is really up to your comfort level with the finances.

Money isn't an issue on any but P85D. we can swing it just means my vette sits needing 1000hp trans that I broke.

I would go with the P85 from 2014.

The AP adds no value for me, while the P85 has the large frunk.

The only reason I'd go with the 2015 is for the possibility of better reliability, although its very hard to tell if quality has actually improved.

Interesting but thought through p85d had a larger back motor.

Would a range extender for the 85D making it a 90D offer any more performace vs. just range for 3k

If money was no object whatsoever, go with 2017 P100DL

given the choices above, 2015 S85D

as you know from your 1000hp vette, its not about the ponies, but how those ponies are put to pavement. You get much better traction with a D. also if one of your motor fails, you may be able to hobble home or to SC with a D.

To add another point for the 2015, the interior was redesigned on the 15. Much more robust overall if you care about comfort and noise.

I like the uncontrolled tq. Haha
Didn't know the redid much on the inside other than next gen seats and new levers on the wheel.

P100D would mean I have to get rid of a ton of my toys. That I can't do lol

Depends on how much interstate driving you plan to do. I have found AP to a huge help on long trips, so I would go for that. If your travel is only around town, then this would not be a consideration.

If you want a less engaging but more solid car, get the 85D. If you want a more engaging and fun to drive car, get the P85. Stop obsessing about the display.

And do you have a $1000 off referral code? I think I've contributed enough to your threads to use mine. ;)

If you have already "so many toys" I will just wait for the coming Model S 2017 100D announcement with AP 2.0.

Why you need to decide by Wednesday?
