I just saw this article today and it makes some pretty astonishing claims about new battery technology. I'm not trained as an EE or anything, so I was hoping the community could help take a look at this and speculate on whether or not there is any truth to the numbers in there.

It does seem promising, but I would like to see some more concrete numbers such as: $/kWh, kWh/kg, estimated number of cycles, and some independent verification. Here's hoping they really do have the breakthrough we've been hoping for.
