New 2021 M3LR Owner - Wall Connector definitely worth it

I have an outdoor outlet too. I went a little overboard. Probably should have just done a HPWC. I have more in my setup than a HPWC cost. Outdoor outlet. Waterproof box, corded mobile connector, locks, and silicon sleeve to protect the charging inlet. At first, I wanted to be able to take it with me (CMC) but then feared someone would steal it and didn’t want to have to plug/unplug before and after each use. I won’t park the car here, just when needing a big charge. Will tether in my carport with the mobile connector on a 110 outlet.

Do you leave the 14-50 adapter plugged into the outlet all the time and just plug the mobile connector into that or do you unplug from the outlet each time. If so, that's a lot of wear and tear on the outlet.
I leave both the 14-50 adapter and the mobile connector plugged in at all times. I live in a rural area so I am not concerned with someone stealing it. We haven't gone on an overnight trip with the car yet (got it in Sept of 2020 and virus restrictions have kept us close to home), but when we finally do I'll unplug the mobile connector and take it with us, but I'll keep the 14-50 adapter plugged in. I have a second one to take on the road with us.
