See some internal work above the drop down ceiling panels installing wiring. Apologies for the terrible picture. Also the service bays were open with a shot of what is inside currently.

I don't think there is any way those 3 service bays are going to cut it. They will probably need to expand them West and somehow cut into the existing building. Lots of unused space along the back (South) edge of the property. Should get an idea pretty soon if a major building expansion will be forthcoming.

We now have a large dumpster on site. Part of the main showroom tile floor has been removed. There are 3 new security cameras now in place. And last but not least: The leftover garbage pile that has been in the corner of the site has had the fence around it removed. This treasure trove of detritus should fine its way into the new dumpster without much coaxing...

Just finished a quick service at Burbank and had a brief discussion with the representatives regarding this location.

Opening date: Mid-June (May get pushed back..)
Previous tenet didn’t take care of the place which caused the delay.
Few staff members will be coming from Burbank location.

Interesting some nice furniture has been delivered into the showroom, but the rest of the site shows no visible work. Seems funny that the showroom might be ready with no further major work required, but the rest of the site still needs serious upgrades? I guess they could open the showroom and still be working on the rest of the site. We shall see...

So the dumpster is now full and overflowing. So unless the neighbors are using this for their community trash dumpster, a bunch of prior contents have been removed. The showroom shows literally nothing new inside. Same furniture, and the new carpet is in need to vacuuming. Those with a keen eye will note that the building exterior on the side of the showroom and where the "service" sign used to be have been repainted. Gray by the 3 service doors. Somehow I was expecting the normal Tesla white and red?

Whoa, what a difference a week makes! This place could literally open up within days. Seems like the rest of the building façade has been painted, even the small outbuilding at the West end of the property. The trench in front of the service area has been completed. The parking lot next to the main building and leading to the service area is striped, with even parking stalls for handicapped in place! The main building has a large plastic screen is place separating the essentially completed office in the West from the still under construction part in the East. I'm thinking that this may end up turning into a delivery center first, and sooner rather than later.

Sales and service hours are now posted, confirming that this site will have both. Space reserved for a Tesla display vehicle. Interesting that there is an after hours "drop off" box. I would have thought that Tesla service centers would have access to the vehicle even without having the key card or fob? Maybe not, Hmmm.

The temporary Tesla banner on the main building is still in place. Though I would think that this will eventually be replaced with something a bit more appropriate. Maybe my Model Y gets delivered from this center?

The other half of the main building is now also being cleaned up. Three destination chargers in front of the service area. Some protective plastic enclosures around the parking lot light poles. Not all the lights are working though.

Site is now open in a bare bones fashion. There is a red Model 3 on display, and a family was checking it out moments after I snapped the picture. One of the 3 destination chargers outside the service area was in use, likely for a demo car used for test drives. Doors open at 10am for sales today. Maybe I stop by and ask when my Model Y is going to show up ;)

One thing that is quite funny is that when I go check this place out, I come down Atlantic and turn right onto Main. The gigantic New Century BMW site is right on that corner. The cherry spot in the showroom has an I8 on display. They don't even make or sell these unicorns anymore. The I8 and I3 show what a disaster the BMW brand is with respect to electrification.
