New apartment...are these spots for charging installations?

    Totally newbie question. Just moved into a new apt and saw some spots for fuel efficient vehicles. On the wall near each spot was...

    There's a 3rd to the left not pictured.

    are these there for easy ev plug installations?

    Or do they have nothing to do with that and I'm an idiot? Haha

    No, those aren't plugs, but maybe they put the wires there for future installation.

    Thats what I'm asking. They're certainly not plugs now, but is it a placeholder for future installation?

    that would be a very bad place for EVs ... 'parking area subject to flooding' ... LOL !!!

    It looks like it is prepped for something electrical. As for what? Who knows. That appears to be a 3/4" conduit, and there wouldn't be enough fill room in that conduit for 3 independent 50A circuits. I would assume there's room for only a couple 15-20A circuits there.
