I just wanted to point out that the ordering page already has a 5% discount applied to an order and will not allow me to remove it so that I can use the code you mentioned in your original post, TMC15, which is a bigger discount of 15%. Would love to help you out with getting the word out, but this error would need to be fixed first, right?

Received the license plate frame yesterday and installed it right away. Much better looking than the stock frame Tesla gives, especially on my black exterior paint M3.
The stock frame had 4 mounting holes, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom, I feel this helps keep the plate better attached to the car than the frames with only 2 holes on the top, as with the BoringMod frame. 4 mounting screws prevent the bottom of the plate from moving in any direction and thus avoiding scratching the trunk.
The frame came with just the 2 top mounting holes and so I had to improvise, I first attached just the plate to the car with the 2 bottom screws and didnt screw them down all the way but left them a few turns loose. I then hooked the bottom 2 tabs on the frame onto the bottom of the plate and this attached the frame firmly to the plate. I then screwed the 2 top screws in place and finished off with the 2 supplied screw covers, which I think are a good touch to hide the unsightly screws.
Feedback, personal opinion only, I wish it had 4 mounting holes instead of 2. Luckily as there were no tabs on the top part of the frame, I was able to hook the frame onto the plate and get a solid installation.

Thanks for the feedback!! For these metal frames these attach via the top 2 holes and there is metal grooves which will hold the metal license plate securely. Previously Tesla didn't have a black plastic backing which would cause some rattle but in 2018+Tesla implemented plastic backings to prevent rattling. If you dont have a plastic backing please let me know and ill send out free foam pads.

However, Based on testing and with Tesla model S and X, using top 2 screws works I do have a different 4 hole design too if you want to feel a bit fancy Carbon Fiber 4 hole design

Hi! Just received my license plate frame and put it on this morning. I really like the streamlined, clean look to this frame, especially paired with the CA Legacy black plates. Easy ordering and fast shopping too. So far, I like it way better than the frame the M3 comes with.
