I tend to agree that DFW needs more service centers than it does Superchargers, but I recognize the need for the latter too given my recent trip to the Austin area where we ended up relying on the San Marcus Supercharger more than I would have liked. Destination supercharging has been the elephant in the room for out-of-town travel and now Tesla seems to be really addressing that. All of this kind of reinforces that Tesla doesn't want to be the next GM, Toyota, Mercedes or Honda...they want to be the next Exxon. "He who controls the spice, controls the universe!"

And the San Marcos Supercharger is way too small and traffic on that corridor is quite bad. I'm heading to the Hill Country this week and using Flatonia and avoiding San Marcos if at all possible (slow, broken and too few stalls). Hopefully San Marcos is scheduled for an uplift soon.
