Hi all,
I had really started looking at EVs thanks to the Mach E that's coming out later this year. As I did, I started looking at Model 3s and realized they were probably just as good or better of a deal. I'm still a huge fan of the Mach-Es styling but I'm a little leary of how Ford will handle their first BEV and the OTA updates (I currently have a Taurus SHO which I love, but they have never been good about pushing out updates, even with it modified to have Sync3).
With all that said, I found the exact match for what I was going to order later in the year (MSM, LR AWD, 19", White Interior, It had FSD, but i was able to remove that to save the 7k) in stock at the Plano, TX Tesla location (brand new with 3 miles). When placing the order it asked me to select a service center and i chose the one in Kansas City (I'm in Wichita, KS). I have a couple questions if anyone could help.
1. How long does it normally take for them to transfer between locations like that?
2. Which placing the order, I'm doing a loan from my Credit union (couldn't beat 3.25% for 84 months). It's asking me to enter in the lien information and the exact amount I'm borrowing. The problem is the order form doesn't have the sales tax included (possibly because of the SC being in MO, and I'm in KS). I'm planning on having that included in my loan, does it matter whether that "exact amount" is actually exact? I don't have the final total yet. And do I need to do that step before they will start organizing the transport?
3. More general related - Does anyone have any experience with mobile service in the Wichita (or other KS) areas?
