New cars coming with 2019.35.108 V10.1 ?

I tried the reboot method mentioned previously in this thread and 2020.8.2 started to download immediately following the reboot. Probably just a coincidence, but who knows...

Woke up this morning to find 2020.8.2 stuck on 100% download. Rebooted and it downloaded again, then froze again on 100%. Changed the wifi signal to tether to my phone (same 2 bar signal strength as home wifi). Started a 3rd download and after 3-4 mins, the yellow icon to install appeared on top of the screen next to profile.

Still waiting, but I have hope now that the upgrade is coming soon. I picked up on 3/12, but have not seen the update download yet.

Updated to 2020.8.2 today - just under 2 weeks after delivery.

This happened to me too. It appeared to re-download about 4 times and finally went through. I didn't' reboot the machine or change the wifi signal at all though.

Coming from Version 2019.35.108...was definitely worth the aggravation, for me. Hope this gets better 2nd time around.

Mine did the same. On wifi the whole time. Only after mine finally installed, it failed, and now the car is dead.

I just finished downloading the update, but my acceleration boost is still not active. It shows the activation boost on the software screen, but in the driving display it still shows "standard" instead of "Sport". Was your boost there right after the update?

I applied the update around 11pm at night. By lunch the next day 'sport' showed up.

Your post yesterday "bricked my display" was rolling in in my brain while i was downloading for the 3rd time...I was literally sweating bricks. Today's another adventure with this new toy.

Mobile service here now. Apparently the car tried to wake or start up at the end of the update and that is what messed things up. Engineering is connected remotely through his laptop working their black magic.

Picked up 3/12. After reading everyones messages, I just went to my car, turned off climate, and clicked the car to check for an update. It just started downloading 2020.8.2 Update.

Tesla was able to get my car revived. Said it was a perfect storm of things that went wrong. In all it took 4 software engineers remoteing in to the rangers laptop and manually pushing files. Once it came up again they pushed the 2020.8.2 fw and all went well. Thanks Tesla!

I haven't noticed any bugs yet with 2020.8.2, but the autopilot improvement is noticeable. Especially when slowing to stop and accelerating from a stop. It also seems less confused in less-than-ideal lighting.

Got car 3/13 with 35.108. Just got 8.2 last night, so there's hope for the rest of you.

Emailed two service advisors twice about the fact that my newly built car was three software versions behind, and that a list of features wasn't working properly. It took four days to get a response saying "sorry about all the stuff that isn't working properly, schedule mobile service."

While waiting to do that, finally got 2020.8.2 on March 24, which was 10 days after taking delivery with 2019.35.108 installed.

Everything that wasn't working properly (voice commands, streaming etc) is now working just fine.
