Did Tesla fix the limiter issue?
Bet I hear crickets
mod note - updated title to make more descriptive - down w mystery thread titles!!
OK you have aroused my curiousity. What is the issue?
If you try to track your P85, you will soon overheat the system, causing the limiter to kick in.
Don't even need to be on a track to get the limiter. It happens all the time for me for just "regular driving" (by my standards) lol
Gawd, can you be even more obtuse in your posts? The OP means taking your Model S to a racing track - at continuous full throttle, the engine get hot, and a power limiter is soon turned on.
But it is a good question. Not only for the track, but for the Autobahn.
Have ICE cars fixed their "red line" issues? How about overheating?
Might be an issue for Speed Racer. Not an issue for the vast majority of us.
Maybe the real question is, does the cooling system have increased capacity? You'd think there would be some changes as it has to cool 2 motors/inverters/etc now. Guess someone will just have to find out.
