New FSD details

Autopilot is now only $3000 but no longer includes Nav-On-Autopilot and the self-parking. If you want those options, you'd have to add on the FSD which is another $5000.

FSD option also says traffic light recognition coming later this year .

I don’t want s refund. I want what I paid for based on the order page from January 2017. And the HW3 upgrade promised multiple times at this point. Nothing less.

No. If you have EAP now, you only get NOA, Auto Park and Smart Summon. You don't get the "coming later this year" features like "automatic city driving" or traffic light recognition.

If you pre-paid for FSD, you get the AP3 upgrade and all the FSD features on the list and all future FSD software updates. No, you are not penalized!

Not exactly. Tesla is still giving us a car that can drive itself completely with no issues, just not quite at the level where we can fall asleep yet.

Yes, it should.

Red light probably. Stop sign is going to be hard, especially if it is not an all ways stop. I don’t see current cars have hardware that can see far enough to the side to be safe.

All I have to say on this is Tesla had better not take a damn thing away from the feature set that was EAP... Half of that has been moved to FSD and if I lose my auto park because I didn't pay for FSD... Yeah...

This is a good move. Makes the basic features - TACC, auto-steer more affordable - these are the things most people want, esp TACC.

The other stuff encourages incremental spending.
