Does anyone know if the checks can be forwarded? I’m currently in the process of moving to a new place, and worried I won’t receive it
I don't see why the PO wouldn't forward if you file the move forms with them. They forward 1rst class for a year. See this - https://faq.usps.com/s/article/Change-of-Address-The-Basics#What_is_cost
Done! Updated timeline... Applied 10/9 Approved 11/18 (40 days from application) Check mailed 1/6 (89 days from application) Check received 1/11/21 (94 days from application) Check deposited and converted to TSLA stock.
You would have to live here for 3 years to keep the 5K. Is it worth it? The 5K is on hiatus but expect it back in six months or so. Maybe next fiscal year if that starts on time this year.
Brief update on people wondering about status. Still no check email indicating if the check has been mailed. Also wondering for those who did get it, did everyone get an email?
I literally submitted last August.... Then eventually they said it was lost in the mail and they would re-cut it. Past few months I just keep emailing them very nicely asking where its at and they just keep saying it hasn't been sent yet. Seeing other people get it after I submitted is really making me worry. WTF is the problem? I offered to come pick it up even. It's a lot of money that I was counting on.
Wow that is really bad, I hope you get your check my recommendation is keep calling them and leave voice mails if needed. I am not sure if you know the checks are mailed from San Diego. Good luck !!!
Just got my check is in the mail notification last night. Submitted: 10/28 Approved: 12/08 Check mailed: 01/29
How do they keep track of people moving out of the state? Generally curious with how the world is right now.
By your driver’s license, registration and insurance. They may have some other checks but that’s at a minimum.
You are required to maintain active ownership of the vehicle for 36 months, the following link has the details on Page 4, item 6. https://chargeup.njcleanenergy.com/sites/default/files/docs/Charge_Up_New_Jersey_Phase_1_Terms_and_Conditions.pdf Also doing a 24 month lease will not qualify for the rebate
