I'm in NY, but drive in NJ daily. If you see a dark blue S in Sussex County it's probably me. I've seen a red one running around up there also.

I need to get 240v Nema 14-50 installed at my place. How much does it cost. So far few electricians quoted very high which is not even close on what I read in some of these forums.

Depends on your situation. If your panel is right next to your car in the garage it should be dirt cheap. If they need to put a new panel in and trench to your garage, its going to cost a fortune.
Like anything else, find a couple well regarded electricians and get a couple of quotes. Or just do it yourself, its easy enough to do.
