Emailed my advisor this morning since I got my VIN on the 12th. Got scheduled for delivery on the 28th at Springfield.

Interesting! I also got matched on the 12th, spoke to them today and the earliest delivery option was the 29th. Hard to imagine the cars are coming in separate batches! Excited to hear how delivery goes for you

Stopped by the Lawrenceville SC yesterday - was in the area and wanted to show my wife the Y. I had driven it in August but she hadn't seen it yet. She asked when I was ordering it.... So that's good. I'm probably waiting until Jan to order as I'm in the process of helping my younger son buy a home and not sure what my downpayment 'assist' will be...! Hoping, in the meantime, that the Model 3 updates work their way to the Y.

They only had 2 demos, both Performance models. I'd really like to drive a LR version before I buy, just to compare, as I drove the Perf model previously. Mostly for the ride. I didn't find the Perf model objectionable, as I like a firm ride.

Anywho, there was a full lot in terms of people apparently picking up their cars, mostly Y's. Good to see.

so by actually checking the source code i see there is a VIN so i guess that is a good thing when looking at the vin the M = 2021 right?

Just got a VIN. Ordered 10/5: LR, white/white, tow hitch. Suspiciously fast. No word from anyone at Tesla and no MVPA yet.

You don't see a VIN on the page anywhere, but it's in the page source? Is in near the RN# in the source code?

on reservation page, right click > View Page Source > Control + F > type in "5YJ"

I don't know if it was coincidence or what but after i just looked again it showed up on my reservation page under my RN

No text, etc. yet - hopefully will hear about a delivery date soon! My guess is still early November.

I called the Springfield SC and was told my car wasn't "out of the factory yet" so maybe 2 to 4 weeks. His advice was to respond quickly to the texts when I receive them to ensure delivery isn't delayed.
