Found this no-fade glass LED laser car door projector set from Mr. Kustom, a Chicago-based company, and installed them on the front doors. They provide a much brighter and more intense color light. I also like that they show only the Tesla logo but not a white surround. The total effect is much better. Ordering a pair for the rear doors as well. They are a bit expensive ($99.00 a pair) but much better than the cheap stuff from China (I've already had two of those burn out).
