New LR AWD has 50 miles stated on MVPA, have not picked it up yet

So I'm picking up my Model 3 in a few days but looking at the MVPA, I can see that there are 50 miles already on the car. Is this normal? And if it isn't can I ask for some supercharging miles as compensation from Tesla?

That is a standard disclosure on the MVPA regardless of the actual miles. The car will likely have considerably less than that.

yup just standard disclosure. Had that stated on mine but when I picked it up Saturday I had 4 miles on it

Just about all titles for all cars from every manufacture have 50 miles on them.

Standard deal. Mine had 5 miles at delivery - 50 on the MVPA.

I'm sure that tesla will gladly compensate you with $2 in supercharging credit to cover those 50 miles.

If it has 50 miles most likely the AP will have calibrated and be available immediately.

mine read 50mi, had 14mi when picked up, OP, good luck on getting credits, no pleasing some people.

You wouldn't want your new car to have 0 miles. A few miles means it actually got tested and should be good to go.

My car had something like 46 miles on it. VIN 60k so maybe they tested it for alignment, noise etc. 20k miles now in 11 months so 50 is hardly anything

Same. Listed 50, had 4. It's all good, I was nervous about everything too. Respectfully, it's going to be fine. I was all keyed up about checking everything. I found one little tear in a door gasket, they marked it down and I drove away. Congrats, enjoy!

Your initial question is fine. The immediate jump to expecting some sort of compensation is not.

When you pick up your car don't confuse the charge level (which will be shown as something like "253 miles") as the odometer. It happens.

Hahaha. What kind of idiot would do that? Hahaha (awkward laugh, as I bow my head in shame). I totally did that...oddly I didn’t care that the car “had over 200 miles on it”. (Luckily it didn’t. I was just confused by all the techno-wizardry).

43 miles on my SR+ at delivery to my house. Also I've only ever looked at the app for my odometer reading, couldn't tell you where to look for it in the car (darn techno-wizardry)
