New M3LR - rattle when closing the front doors with windows down. Typical?

Perhaps I am just being overly detailed but hey, I don’t buy a new car every day. When the windows are down, the front doors have a loud rattle when they are shut. I know most cars have a little bit of that, but this seems very loud. If it’s typical, so be it.

Yes. Completely normal - both my 3 and x do it.
I don’t love the sound but I don’t worry about it, either.

Mine rattles too when I close the door with the window down. In fact when I first picked up the car from Tesla, one of the guys there told me
that rattle is normal. I just make sure the windows are up when I close the door. You can always lower them a bit via the app after the door is
closed. So, at least from my perspective - no big deal.

With the 3, be happy if you don't have many noise/rattles when you're actually driving around.
(My late 2018 build doesn't rattle like that.)
