I have been posting on TMC for a whiIe now and greatly appreciate all of the pre-delivery help from TMC members. My new M3P was delivered yesterday, so I am posting this introduction.
I was born in Ohio and have lived in Iowa, and since 1972 in Central MA. I am a retired electrical engineer and DIY gear-head since the 50's. My main project cars included: 1956 Ford Victoria V8, 1957 Chevy V8, 1961 Corvette V8, 1966 Saab 96, 1967 Mustang V8, 1965 Corv8 ---Corvette V8 midship in a '65 Corvair body, (which had a Frunk!) .. my most involved project and last V8. Then a series of 4s: 1971 Capri, 1974 Fiat 128SL, 1979 Accord, 1983 Mazda 626, 1990 Integra, 3 turbo Saab 9000s, a 9-5 Aero, and a 2002 Acura RSX-S. I also did SCCA autocross with the Integra, then a FM KBS Mk3 snowmobile powered open wheel race car (0-60 in 4 seconds). I participate in Swedespeed regarding our 2015 Volvo XC60 twin-charged drive-E, before that on SaabNet and briefly on some Acura forums for my 2002 RSX-S, which will be replaced by the new Model 3 which is faster and more efficient than any car I have ever owned. And we have Solar PV, so recharging will be free.
