New Message Alerts

Am I doing it wrong? I have groups for all my cars and they all behave the same. If I am interested in a thread I watch it and in the morning if there were new posts the previous day I get an email. HERE I get an email while I am at work, out to dinner, driving to LA.

It's TOO MUCH.

My other option is to come back to the site and "see" if there are any new posts. Am I doing it wrong? I want daily emails only...

I don't think it's possible on TMC. The common term for that form of alerts is to receive them in "digest" format.

As an alternative, you could subscribe to the thread without e-mail notification. When you want to catch up, come to the site and select your avatar in the top menu bar. That will take you to your profile page. From here, there's a Watched Threads and Watched Forums link along the left side of the screen. That will show you the threads/areas with new content that you haven't looked at.
