I think we’ll all be a bit less concerned With total range when fast charging locations are a bit more ubiquitous.

99% of the time I don’t care. However there are still a few trips that I make that I know I’ll need to charge for.

A degraded battery will still show 100% charge is possible. It's just that that 100% is different than the 100% when new. Anything other than that is some kind of problem or a bug as you say.

That’s true it shows as 100% on the in-vehicle display. But there’s nothing preventing the in-app logic from listing the max possible charge relative to the battery’s rated new capacity, if that’s how they decided to implement it. Which is why I listed it as one possibility for this new feature in the app.
