Probably supplier issues, so they used their next one lined up.

We might be on the 3rd Gen as the original seats for the July deliveries were reportedly replaced.

Not to mention that the new angled stripes are well above horizontal seam whereas on the old seat they were at the same level

Do the old seats have a textile / cloth bit on the inside facing the center console ?
