I wish I could have ordered mine with the entire seats covered in that.
I wonder why they use it there? Is it more durable when the seat moves back and forth?

To keep the seat from making rubbing noises when you sit in or move the seat. I had to put a little self adhesive velvet patch on the side of my console in my Model S because of the noise it was making.

The ones with textile sun visors, but ultra-suede mirror covers are rare... But I wouldn't call that desirable...

Maybe as part of the rampup these seats are made by a newly hired team who interpreted the sewing instructions slightly differently, but it was deemed within acceptable variance, so it ships.

Yeah...you are right they are getting burned.......look at the even newer seats. They change by the day.

Look...I'm all in for the Performance Dual Motor Model 3 with Ventilated seats........

You know they had to upgrade the Model S P100D first......since the Model 3 will never outdo the Model S and X.....
