New Model S 90D, Max Speed Limitation??? 85mph

Just got a new 90D. Was a bit surprised when the delivery agent told me the autopilot was not yet software enabled.
AutoPilot 2 with full self driving package. Sales guys really sold me on that feature, but never mentioned it had yet to be enabled.

Now I find that the max speed it 85mph. Am I missing a setting or is this car limited to 85mph.

Is the car new new or new inventory? My inventory/demo was delivered with a limiter still on...

Regardless, call your service center. If this is the case, they can disable it remotely.

The car might be in "demo mode" (some test drive cars and loaners are limited to 85), I'd call and ask, they should be able to change the setting while you're on the phone (not a user configurable setting).

It was well publicized that the new AP would not be enabled immediately.

Speed limit, call service center, your car is likely in demo mode.

A phone call was all that was needed. It was not in Valet mode, but some sort of out of the factory mode.

Finally had the chance to "open it up" and found out I am also stuck at 85! Waiting on a call back from the service center where we took delivery on the latest S now...

I rarely speed but sometimes I need it when people box me out and my exit is within a mile. I was shocked when my car topped out at about 90. Frustrated me because I needed it to prevent a trucker from panicking. He was doing 80 in the right lane....70-90 felt good but the limitter messed up my plan to make my move smooth.
