New Model S Parking Sensors Unavailable Issue - FIXED!

Very frustrating, but Tesla fixed it (after 4 svc visits).

Solution as follows: They put a monitor on the parking sensor wiring and noticed it was picking up a signal whenever the air conditioner compressor turned on. They wrapped the wiring to shield it until it no longer picked up that signal and voila! I've had the car back for two months with no failure. Anyone that's frustrated with this please show Tesla service this post, just in case you're issue is similar. It was fixed at Tesla in Temp AZ, svc call was closed May 19, 2022 last 6 digits of my vin 473251. 2022 Model S. Good luck.

Thanks so much for this - I will share it with the Van Nuys service center. For my problem, they told me that after diagnosing the problem it was not hardware, but will be resolved through a firmware/software update. They gave me no timeline for that and its now been 2 months since the service. Anyone else told that?

Sorry just saw this. I don't actually have any info that's why I shared my repair date and vehicle vin so you could go to Tesla and have them look it up. Sorry.
