This may be contrarian thinking but I plan to keep our S85D for at least 30 years. I like old Leica glass on my M camera and I like the 1940s Southbend lathe in my shop. They continue to do useful work that suit my needs. My Toyota pickup truck is nearing 25 years and I keep it to for the utility it still provides. I do not need the latest in gadgets.
Most of all I want this car to continue to run on sunshine as our solar array powers the car for free and the panels should last 30 years too.
The importance of a Tesla to me is not the audio features or AP but the ability to get off the addiction and cost of gasoline. For that it is a 'keeper'.
