New Modular Construction for Superchargers

These pictures from the recently opened Ohio Turnpike Plaza (Genoa, OH N/S) show a modular design for installation of the pedestal base. Typically had formed and poured on site in the pass. At least Tesla is learning shortcuts to speed construction. I am sure there are probably lots of hidden shortcuts as well. Thanks to @RubyM3LR-RWD for the pictures.

Yes! Perfect. I had mentioned seeing them in anther post: modular to the extreme. I just saw a charger being constructed in Estero, Fl: 32 stalls, i believe, and they're still doing it the "old" way. Perhaps when it was designed and permitted that was what was to be followed? Local zoning or codes another factor?

Sometimes the city doesn't want the cabinets out in the open, so they have to be in a separate enclosure. The new prefab system also depends on having the space for the cabinet to be in the middle of the 4 stalls.
