For those that prefer Highway 7, the two DCFC awarded to Peterborough Utilities are supposed to open before Xmas. Lansdowne Place Mall, Peterborough and Norwood Town Hall, Norwood.

Agreed. Complicating things with 3+ networks isn't going to help the adoption of EVs. I love the Sun Country network for this reason - just pull up and charge. All these chargers with different access cards or Apps. What a nightmare! Can't some authority at least mandate a standard access mechanism.
I just signed onto the ChargePoint Network and I already have an Electric Circuit account, which I believe will allow access to Flo, so I guess now I am ready. When I signed up to ChargePoint they asked for a credit card or PayPal account to sign up, but will not be charged until you use a payment required ev charger.Agreed. At least Flo and ChargePoint allow you to charge by tapping a credit card as well, although I believe you pay a non-member service fee.

Whoever keeps adding these new chargers on Plugshare, please stop.
Hopefully these Can Tire sites will include the On Route stations as they have a monopoly on those stations.
About FLO vs. Electric Circuit vs. AddEnergie - I've always found this confusing so I did some digging and here's what I found:I think AddEnergie bid to install at these 25 Canadian Tire sites... All the out of pocket expenses are being paid by FLO/AddEnergie and Ottawa.
On L3 how do the charges work for each? And are they interoperable/chargable?About FLO vs. Electric Circuit vs. AddEnergie - I've always found this confusing so I did some digging and here's what I found:
Corrections welcome if any of that is wrong.
- FLO (formerly VERnetwork) is a charging network. They own the stations and collect the revenue for charging at them.
- Electric Circuit is another distinct network.
- Both use AddEnergie technology - charging stations as well as web and mobile software to manage the networks. So AddEnergie is a supplier to both networks.
- Just to make it more complicated, AddEnergie owns the FLO network.
- Hydro Québec owns the Electric Circuit network.
- As of last year, these two networks are interoperable - you can use a card from either to charge at any of their stations, and all stations from both networks show up on the web pages and mobile apps for both networks.
- The owner of the station determines the cost ($2.50/session on Electric Circuit and $1.00/hr on FLO for level 2).
- The card you use determines which account gets charged.
