Yes, test drove multiple times, LR and Performance. You just cannot hit them during EOQ/EOY. That’s when Tesla sells everything they have on hand. So there’ll be no demos for the month (e.g. March, June, Sept, Dec)

Those who purchased recently, did you test drive before buying? It seems test driving is not too much of a thing for Tesla.

You may want to rent a Long Range Model Y from Hertz or a Performance Model Y using Turo and that way you can spend time driving both versions of the Model Y.

Yes, I tested a MY LR, my local showroom let me take it overnight when they closed for the day and bring it back the next day. I said I wanted to try it at home with all my car seats and stuff. They were super easygoing and had no issue with this. I bought the Performance version but never drove it beforehand.

After test driving the competing EVs I ordered the Tesla the next day after test driving it. It was so far beyond the others it wasn't even in the same league (for us).
