There seems to be a new easter egg while using Autopilot. Nobody seems to know exactly how to get it working though.

This has been popping up when I engage Autopilot and then pull the engage stalk an extra time but not everytime its hit and miss. I called Tesla they knew nothing about this and I was the first to call in. I would have said maybe a video glitch except is plays a special tune through the speakers when engaged as can be heard on the video. Maybe its a new beta attention getter I got by mistake.

Activate autopilot then pull back in Rapid succession five times on the autopilot stalk.. works for me every time

5 times, thanks will try that, I was starting to think that I was the only person to see this display, I am glad I am not alone in apparent Mario land.

Yep, just tried it and it works! But when you pull the stalk 5 times quickly, you gotta do it real fast. At first it didn't work for me because I wasn't fast enough.

It sounds like unlike the 007 submarine air suspension Easter Egg, this one almost certainly does not persist after the car has been off, since it sounds like it has to be enabled each time TACC / Auto-steer is engaged. That's too bad. It would have been fun to set this, and then let my wife "find" it on her own the first time she engaged TACC / Auto-steer.

Is there a certain firmware that it started to work on? I'm still on 2.12.126 no matter how hard I wish for an update.

2.16.17 (P85D) is the firmware that contains this easter egg. I verified it is 5 quick pulls up on the autopilot stalk that is the key to produce it.

Not that it matters for me, unless I can scratch my head really hard and find some reason to take her in to the SC.

I pulled the stalk towards me and it worked just fine
