New Softer Suspension

i spoke with Tesla yesterday about doing the switch from softer suspension to the stiffer original 2017. (lotus and BMW M3 owner here - i like the stiffer ride) They would do it for the full price of labor and parts. i was told that upgrading from stiffer to softer suspension is no charge.

Other than being stiffer, are the suspension better?

Have you tried increasing the psi on the tires to see if it is better to your liking (and you will also get better mileage as well)?

Does anyone know at what VIN the softer springs were introduced? I have 53xx.

My vin is 212xx and when I picked up the delivery specialist mentioned that the suspension was adjusted to make the ride a bit more comfortable. That along with the better seats. It feels really nice.

It wasn’t VIN related but date related. Cutoff was Dec something 2017.
