Not yet active (it was on my way to Custer, SD). I also see 2 Light poles on the ground ready for installation.

I was there yesterday while a man from Tesla was there and got a charge. He told me it should be officially open by 6pm today after they clean up the area, powerwash it and get the lights up. He told me it WILL appear on our cars readout of open superchargers right after they get it up. He was going to shut off the juice when he left but keep an eye on your supercharger map.

It’s officially up and charging.

That odd, because it’s not live according to the in-car navigation or the Tesla web site, at least as of 5 minutes ago.
Not odd at all. After a location gets powered on, it often takes 2 or 3 days for it to show up on the in-car navigation and then up to 2 weeks later it will show on the web map. So there is often a short period where it's capable of supercharging but not listed anywhere.

(Though, I guess one could quibble over word choice and whether it was "officially" open without being listed by Tesla in one of those locations.)

To expand on what @mociaf9 was saying... Often Tesla uses this "unlisted" time to allow the community to further test out a site to make sure everything is working. Then when they've seen enough charges they can make it live on the website and in the cars. I suppose you could say it's a way for them to further ensure that everything is working properly before they open it to the full Tesla fleet.
