New Tesla App update - Seat Heating within mobile app

[Techniques]

This might not be a big deal for some, but for us in cold climates this is a welcome option to now have.
You can also schedule service from within the mobile app.
All we need now is to have an option to schedule charging start and end times.

This is interesting, as I literally just got a notification for a AP update can this be Nav on AP?!

That’s awesome, I downloaded update & didn’t bother seating in 3 to see “what’s new”. I wish you could read it in app. I knew something was up because AP was acting funny just before update & wouldn’t off ramp after signalling.

I find it a little annoying how it defaults to turning all seats on to 1/3. Every time I remote start now I turn off all seats and put the driver seat to 2/3. Would be nice if it remembered the last setting used. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Also, I keep tapping the steering wheel in the hopes that it will one day magically be heated like every other car in this price range (and even every other car 1/2 the price!)

Yeah, find it more of an annoyance now.

Mine starts heat with all 5 seats max and I prefer them all off. 15 clicks now to shut that all off every time. I have 2 dogs in the car and don’t want the seats on. I’d say just driver at 2/3 would make sense.

Apparently the level for the seat heaters is temperature dependent (1, 2 or 3) and also will shut off once you get in the car and revert to previous setting when you left the car. Not sure about that last part but it's what I have read.

My steering wheel is heated. Your sig says "107XXX: AWD, Pearl White, LR, PUP, Black Int, Aeros, EAP (Sept27 @ IC...yeah!)" What does that mean? Is that a Model S? Model X? Model 3?

LR and Aeros means Model 3.

I don't think that is widely known - at least not to this longtime Model S owner. Aeros to mean means that you have chocolate bars with bubbles in them. Or the Houston WHA team that Gordie Howe used to play for.

It’s widely known enough for this model X driver to know.

If you press and hold one of the heater icons for about 3-4 seconds they will all shut off. No need to click individually.
