I thought I bought a Roadster S.
Turns out I have a Roadster SLC - Supreme Leaf Catcher.
OMG, I have never seen anything capture leaves as effectively as a Roadster. Yesterday I had the car completely detailed, including 20 minutes of leaf removal--using tweezers and other small instruments--from no fewer than five supreme leaf catching locations on the Tesla.
1. Front wire-mesh under bumper
2. Rear wire-mesh under bumper
3. Front edge of trunk
4. Bottom of read window
5. Underneath hood
I then drove home - about three miles. By the time I got home their were already at least 30 leaves semi-permanently embedded in location #2. NOOOooooooOoooOoo.
I assume others have this problem? Any solutions?
I'm thinking about fixing #1-2 by wedging some small weather stripping into the gap between the wire-mesh and the "lip" they connect to. Anyone tried that?
Damn you leaves!
