Received this email from a friend (model Y owner). Curious if anyone has any idea what happened here:
"Took the Tesla for our first big trip to Sedona. All is going smoothly. Had something interesting occur. We pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant and a young woman in the car next to me came over and said I see you're a Tesla owner. I have a Tesla (s model) and I can't get it into reverse (she's had the car about a week). I got in and tried it and it would only go forward. She called Tesla and we went into the restaurant. I was curious so while we waited for our food I went back out and asked her if she tried rebooting the system. She said that Tesla already did that and it still wouldn't go into reverse. At this point she was waiting for a Tow truck. After we finished our meal the car was gone."
