New Text Message Capability? How do I enable?

I believe that the recommendation is to re-pair your phone with the car.

edit: Oh, and enable notifications.

 

click enable notifications by clicking the Bluetooth symbol in the upper right of the screen.

 

You’ll need to update your phone connection on the touchscreen. There’s a toggle switch...I can’t remember exactly what it’s called.

If you are using an iPhone, you need to enable notifications on the Bluetooth connection.

 

Don’t need to re-pair. Click on the Bluetooth in the car (top right of screen) and the Bluetooth in the phone and enable all the new message options on both sides.

Note it may keep the car awake if your phone is nearby all the time. Noticeable in TeslaFi emails/logs
