New Tow Hitch Cover! The Best Yet!

I had similar thoughts. The stock cover is difficult to routinely take on/off. I am constantly putting rack on and taking it off. I cut out a 77mm X 77mm square in the cover and trimmed using door edge molding. Total cost $4.

I can’t seem to find the original post where the developer of this item described it and asked for replies from anyone interested. IIRC, they needed at least 50 people before going to manufacturing. I responded, but haven’t heard anything…
The manufacture has just announced a new production for both the MY pre 150k vin and a universal fit for MY

Thank you for this. I ordered the older version but it didn't work with my 2022 MY.

Don’t feel bad, I didn’t get a clear answer when I asked either!
The machined one with multiple holes and the Tesla logo. I stated in my reply that the one that was mentioned when this thread started is an eyesore. The Ungodly Design version is much nicer but you need to make sure it works with your VIN number. Again, it's in the eye of the beholder and you're all entitled to your opinion but my personal opinion is that the tow hitch cover that started this whole thread (#1) does not live up to the Tesla design standards.

I got this one. Fit pretty well. I think I’ll have to tinker a bit to see why one side has slightly larger gap. Hope this doesn’t suggest tesla installed hitch at a slight angle.

I like the clean OEM look. If I start using my tow hitch regularly, I’ll just order the Tesbros hitch cover removal tools for $20.
