So I got a notification on my phone and hit update. Was pretty excited to try some buggy racing and then the update failed anyone else have this happen?

I just got the update, 2019.20.4.2 withbuggy racing. installed without a hitch.
Funny enough I called tesla today to report errors i was getting all day for blindspot monitoring and NoA being unavailable. They said a diagnostic was being done on the car, and about a few hours later I got the update. Probably a coinencedensce, but the blindspot error is gone...see how it is tomorrow.

Prolong parking with sentry mode cause me the same blind spot errors for me as well. turned off car waited 10min and then start fixed it ..

Report it to support, explain the issues in detail. They'll look into it and odds are there's probably something in the pipeline to fix it. Depending upon how complex the problem is, they can usually push a fix in a few days. Watch to see what the latest release is. Right now, I'm seeing 2019.20.4.2

I reported it to service. Looks like it was trying to update to 2019.20.4.2. It downloaded a 400 meg ish file and failed on updating.

It’s happened to me before in the past & Tesla tried several times to push install without success so they flashed the SD card & re-installed software remotely using my wi-fi. There is 1 SD card for maps & 1 for software updates for center screen PC.

Turn off sentry, remove USB drive, do a reboot, park where there is WI-FI, go to sleep, eventually the update will come through again

I was at work on LTE and 2019.20.4.2 failed to download on several attempts even with sentry turned off. I got home and tried with the wifi I have in my garage with my wifi extender ensuring a strong signal and the firmware uploaded in 10 mins.
