Most will notice the throttle response changes, hardly anyone will be able to discern a 0.1 second change in acceleration.
I wonder if the classis P85(+) will have any improvements in that release. I'm on ".160" and wonder with the ".168" release if notes for P85 will state it.
I thought throttle response can only mean one thing: drive train reaction time to a change in pedal position is reduced.
Or the other way around: you have to push the pedal less to get the same speed increase. It's the mapping of power to the pedal position that can easily have changed between software versions.
That's what I figured. However, I just installed the update last night and drove it this morning and was quite surprised to notice more power during passing maneuvers. Then I noticed the KW meter is reading higher than it was before: Before the update, the needle would peg at covering the right most side of the 0 in 480. Now it's its clearly on the left side of the 0 which looks like another 30KW or so. Not a huge difference but noticeable. More importantly, it continued to do this even at 48%. Before going less than 60% resulted in lower peak KW value on the meter.
