Hey all,
My 2015 85D will no longer have the battery warranty this fall. Options are to keep and eventually buy a new battery or switch up to a model 3. Looking at used 3's that are AWD (performance or not) and would like to get one with FSD to experience what all the fuss is about.
If I buy a used 3 with FSD from Tesla is there a monthly/annual fee for FSD?
Looking at prices, a brand new 3 isn't much more than a 3-4 yr old 3 with FSD so there's an argument for a new 3 with no FSD.
Battery on my S has been decent so far (*knock knock*). SOC @80% gives about 211-215 miles in the summer and maybe about 203-205 miles in the winter. However, the last couple of days I noticed I dipped below 200 miles (198) at 80% SOC so I wonder if that is a sign.
If anyone has made a move like this or thinking of making a move on an S with an about to expire battery warranty let me know!
