NH Configs - how long have you waited for delivery?

I've wanted to write a few twitter rants over the last couple weeks because I'm just so frustrated with the delivery process for a state without a service center (thus far). I know everyone says it's worth all the headaches in the end, and to that I've remained patient but at the same time....my car is in a state so close I could be there and back with it in a day and yet...I wait.

    3/31/16 - Reserved online
    4/13 - Invited to configure
    4/15 - Configured, 3-6 week delivery estimate
Week of 4/16 - June delivery delay email
5/29 - Received call that the car is en route, am told to get financing in order or it will be held up in Alabama (Arkansas? I already forget), if everything stays on track I should have it between 15-18th. Got all my applications in and selected a bank by June 1.
6/5 - Have all paperwork signed, with a loan close date of 6/8 (earliest we could get to the bank), am told it's in NJ
6/8 - Get a call informing me that during final inspection (software update, glove box fix), broken window was discovered (not sure what window). Would either be repaired with clear fill or replaced, 2-3 week minimum to receive the replacement part if so. Tells me not to close on financing yet.
6/13 - Tells me window is fine (?!) and never actually had anything wrong with it. Now requires manager sign off because an issue had been reported with it.
6/18 - Still waiting on managerial sign-off?! Then the car has to be scheduled with a contract company which will be...when??

Ugh, can't help but feel that they aren't being super truthful because it shouldn't take this long for someone to give the OK on it? And that it's been sitting for no reason. I just want my sweet, sweet ride! At least it doesn't have to stop in Dedham (or so I'm told)

So, can any other NH (or VT/ME) folks commiserate? Was your experience similar? How long from final-sign-off to delivery was it for you?

Fellow NH here. I received an email with my vin from my ISA. After calling him back multiple times, when I finally got on the phone with him he realized I am in NH (and thus they don't permit picking up the car in Dedham, as it must be delivered). That meant I needed to be transferred to someone else to coordinate. That has been another exercise in waiting, as I have been unable to get a hold of my ISA or this mystery NH-knowledgeable person for days.

I got mine in VT 3-4 weeks ago. I also got the transfer to a delivery specialist once they realized I could not pick up in MA. That went pretty smooth. Got the call it was in NJ and would be 7-10 days to deliver. Then got a call from the trucking company an hour later saying they wanted to deliver the next day. Obviously that was fine with me! Delivery guy was about an hour late but he was very helpful and car was immaculate. Been loving it ever since.

I will consider myself lucky that I at least did not have that extra step (maybe because I indicated NH delivery, did you?).

It’s just frustrating that there seems to be a lull in VINs and deliveries yet it’s just parked there. I wish I could just go pick it up without any tax penalties. Keeping my fingers crossed to at least have a delivery date by the end of this week

AN1235 I wonder if you will have the same one as me, I will say he is responsive but can’t seem to get anything going.

That’s great luck! Do you know if you were part of a series of deliveries in the area or was it a single transport just for your car?

My timeline is in my sig.

I had excessive trouble getting calls back from Hector (my 'sales advisor') or having him respond in timelines anywhere near when he said. If he said he was emailing something to me immediately, it was pretty much a guarantee that it wasn't going out until the following morning or worse.

Other people at Tesla were far more helpful.

My car came in a semi trailer with 5 other cars inside. I was lucky in that mine was the last one on the truck and the first one off since they were MANY hours late in loading it and only 1 more person was going to get their car that day - the other 4 were going to be pushed off another day.

That's right, I distinctly remember one of your posts on a thread because you mentioned it was just sitting in NJ as well. I am working with Cris who at least definitely responds to emails, but the response is always just 'I'll reaching out to the team', etc.

We are on week 2 of relying on one car (sold ours to complete payment) and my husband and I both have to be in the office next week so that will be fun to figure out. Annoyed that we had to rush to get everything done on our end, and now they take their time, and we'll likely need a rental.

I hope not. It shouldn't be this hard to give a company $55,000. My ISA has totally ghosted me since he found out he can't be the one to give me the delivery information. I recognize 5 days isn't that long to wait for someone to get back in touch with me, but even an email acknowledging my existence would be appreciated.

He did indicate prior to finding out I was in NH that I'd be able to pick up my car on July 2nd in Dedham, but obviously that isn't a possibility any longer. I would like to know when to expect the car to be delivered to NH though.

This just highlights the need for a store / service center in New Hampshire - even a small one would do. According to what someone wrote in a Tesla group on Facebook (I know, impeccable credentials, eh?), Tesla is *allegedly* looking at properties in Nashua.

This *allegedly* came from someone they spoke to at Tesla's Dedham store last week.

Now, if they looked at a particular patch of land that is available just end of the road when you take the turnpike's Exit 2....

(Oh, and just because that's 2 miles south of my house - that has NOTHING to do with my opinions on the subject!)

5 days is certainly a lot! I am fighting the urge not to follow up with mine every other day. It's been parked at a service center for 2 weeks now. What is the hold up?

In my day-to-day work, if after two attempts at emailing a coworker and there's no response, you pick up the phone and call them. Can't help but wonder if this guy doing that or just repeatedly sending an email.
