NHTSA Abbreviations (National Highway Transportation Safety Administration)

I just finished reading NHTSA incident PE 16-007 where on May 7, 2016, a 2015 Tesla Model S collided with a tractor trailer crossing an uncontrolled intersection on a highway west of Williston, Florida, resulting in fatal injuries to the Tesla driver. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/inv/2016/INCLA-PE16007-7876.PDF

The report was filled with abbreviations, and in order to keep track of what I was reading I jotted them down. I thought it might be useful to others to have this list of these abbreviations, so I am posting them here.

There are lots of Tesla abbreviations that are tossed around on the forums. A list of them would be useful for new owners like me. I got my MS on Christmas Eve 2016 and have about 2000 miles on it so far.
