    Yes, especially if it doesn't interfere with the signal quality.

    This technology might be adaptable so that it can be applied to solar panels, which could generate electricity from sunlight during the day + ambient radio wave energy during the day and night. It might be ideal for ground-based solar installations if there's a chance that a roof-mount install would cause cellular or other types of communications interference.

    A case that "converts the wasted 90 percent of energy the phone produces trying to pump out a cellphone signal, and puts it back into the phone, thus powering it for up to 30 percent longer"? Maybe next they'll build an alternator equipped trailer that you can tow behind a Model S, that will convert 90 percent of the kinetic energy the car produces trying to move the car forward, and put it back in he car, thus powering it for up to 30 percent longer!
