Nine Months To Get 3rd Powerwall 2

Well, thought I'd share that it took 9 months of wait time, but I just had my third Powerwall 2 installed. Signed a contract with a local certified installer out of Gainesville, FL back in June of 2021. Final install was completed March 17th, 2022. Might have paid a bit more to go this route ($10k all in), but still have the 26% FITC to help.

For those looking to add PW's, there is hope. Just have to be patient with the installer since they have no idea when they are going to receive PW's.

It depends on how much business the installer does. We added a third Powerwall back in August when they were hard to come by, but our installer (ProSolar) had no problem getting one.

Many local installer are still pushing other products because trying to carry PWs is more of a hassle to them.

Here in AZ, Sunrun bought up all the PWs they could get their hands on, like around 10k.
