    From donating 400 stations in Europe to this, Nissan is being VERY aggressive in pushing CHAdeMO. It may well become a "de facto" standard (or they are trying to make it that way).

    Makes me wonder how much Tesla's DC station will cost (and when J1772 DC will come out).

    If they make the CHAdeMO protocol support up to 100 kW, then I think Tesla should really take up that solution.

    Even with 50kW using CHAdeMO is a good "fast-charge". 45 min of 50kW still gives you almost 200km of range! That's always better then the 35km you might get from a 30A J1772 public charger.

    I'm pretty sure the CHAdeMO protocol supports 200A / 500V, even if the current crop of chargers don't.
