No audio from rear speakers

2021 MYLR. Not sure exactly when this started, but today I noticed that I have no sound at all coming from my rear speakers. If I fade the balance all the way back there is only silence.

The issue occurs with both Bluetooth and streaming, regardless of the immersive sound setting, notwithstanding multiple reboots.

I've booked mobile service, but thought I'd post this here in case anyone had encountered this issue.

I just did an update and mine keep cutting in and out. Only the rears. Was working fine prior to it.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have a mobile service appointment booked for next week, in advance of which they have ordered a new amp, so they are certainly approaching this as a hardware problem.

Update: mobile service advised that a connector was loose. The problem has now apparently been fixed. Pretty exciting story, I know.

Interesting. I'm having the same issue and they have also pre-ordered an amp for my upcoming mobile visit. Any idea which connector was loose?

Not specifically. The invoice says: “Traced audio fault to rear amplifier, found loose connector causing loss of communication to rear speakers. Re-connected and verified rear speakers operational.”

Oh that's good. Mine was delivered with everything non-functional except two front speakers. Turned out the whole computer had to be replaced! Could be worse!
