Has anyone else experienced your Tesla not charging overnight even when it’s scheduled properly? I had this happen recently, in the morning the car didn’t wake up with the app, didn’t wake up when I opened the door and didn’t wake up with the pedal press. Had to do a scroll wheel reset for it to wake up. Surprise! You have to stop at supercharger!
I have. In my case the car went to sleep - from your startup it appears yours did as well. I don't believe the command to start charging will wake it up, at least that is my best guess. I've enabled the "always connected" button and have not had the problem. BUT, that car also doesn't sleep either. You might want to try that, at least when you charge.
I turned that off on my car a long time ago, it more often than not seemed to wake up cranky otherwise (and the boot time was annoying). Overnight it only ever drops 2 or 3 kms of range so I don't see it being an issue at all disabling sleep mode.
This happened to me once. The MCU had crashed and wouldn't wake up without a two-thumbwheel reset. I was away for a week or so, and while I was gone, the car wouldn't charge and the app acted really weirdly - I could turn on the climate control (or at least the app said it was on; I was away and couldn't check), but turning it off would fail (eventually I'd get the "4 hour timeout" alert on my phone). I couldn't change the charge set point or get the car to start charging.
